If they had done their job, it would be "fresh": Awesome pics, good actors, amazing score, despicable villains, exciting battle scenes and a message of hope... Baldwin of Jerusalem is probably my favorite character of all time and Balian is also good, although he is a bit of a hypocrite. Orlando Bloom does a superb job, the scene work and direction is superb. Not sure where it gets a 43% 🍅 - this is one of those that has me trust the critical review far less.
